Udział w Festiwalu Nauki [27 March 2012]

Dział Aplikacji przedstawił na 15tym Poznańskim Festiwalu Nauki cześć prototypu wyświetlacza o rozdzielczości 16K. Na Festiwalu przedstawiliśmy młodzieży zabawę opartą o nieco zmniejszoną wersję naszego prototypu. Festiwalowy zestaw miał rozdzielczość 11520x4800. Nasza zabawa polegała na budowaniu logo imprezy w postaci mozaiki zdjęć na bieżąco wykonywanych osobom odwiedzającym nasze stoisko. Każdy z naszych gości, który zechciał się sfotografować mógł po chwili odnaleźć swoje zdjęcie na wyświetlanej mozaice.

Our VideoWall at CeBit 2012 in Hannover [6-10 March 2012]

he projection system presented at CeBIT, consisting of 36 monitors that create a homogenic wall, was prepared for the use of telemedicine applications, but meets the needs of visualization of many other branches of research. Only a part of this installation was presented at the fair. The full laboratory version of the wall can display 16K image on 64 monitors (sixteen times bigger than the popular HD). Currently, such accurate cameras don’t exist, but it is possible to generate computer images that will have an ultra high visualization quality in specific applications (medicine, astronomy, molecular modeling). What's more, this system is scalable and capable of displaying multimedia content directly from the fast network and allows to have a flexible extension of the growing demand.  Read more here
